New Golf Industry Show Planned for Feb 11-13, 2005
Charleston, SC-With a history of providing high quality trade shows, National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and the Golf Course Superintendents Association (GCSAA) will host the Golf Industry Show, combining the strengths and experience of both organizations. The first ever Golf Industry Show will be held February 11-13, 2005, at the Orange County Convention Center.
The Golf Industry Show brings the key decision makers together under one roof. The 750,600 square foot facility will feature over 800 exhibitors in various Solutions Centers, such as Water Solutions, Clubhouse Solutions, and a Green Construction Solution Center-where a cross-section of California, sand and USGA greens will be built on-site by the Golf Course Builders Association. More than 20,000 attendees are expected.
"This move is about creating more value for our members and industry partners," said GCSAA CEO Steve Mona. "There are many shared interests between GCSAA and NGCOA, not only on the organizational level, but for our respective members as well."
"We are responding to the requests of our members," said Mike Hughes, NGCOA Executive Director. "By launching this new show, incorporating our existing trade shows, we are able to offer cost-effective solutions to members and exhibitors that attend both events."
NGCOA's education conference, the annual Solutions Summit, will be held in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show, Feb. 8-12th, 2005, at the Rosen Plaza. The conference will, as always, provide attendees with innovative solutions to maximize profits and reduce expenses. GCSAA will also host its annual educational conference Feb. 7-12th.
